Join Our Team!

The Springfield Jazz and Roots festival’s most valuable asset is its people – musicians, visual artists, volunteers, and participants. The contribution made by all our volunteers is an essential extension of our workforce. We are committed to ensuring that all volunteers are supported, valued, and respected, and that we collectively foster a sense of inclusion and respect for all in attendance. Join us and be part of the excitement!

Volunteers are needed throughout the day of the festival, as well as for setup on the Friday afternoon before the event. Shifts are four hours long, and we have opportunities for people of all ages and physical abilities. Jobs include setup and takedown, staffing information tables, greeting attendees, arts and music activities, hospitality, and helping us keep the park green and clean.
