Richard Parris Scott is a Springfield-native actor, musician, composer, and educator whose creative force commands attention. From composing for orchestras to leading a genre-fluid band at major festivals, RPS is reshaping how we hear jazz. Their 2024 debut album All’s Good is a 15-track journey through sonic nostalgia and avant-garde soundscapes, brought to life onstage with theatrical flair and bold authenticity. With performances featured in The Boston Globe, MassLive, and NEPM, RPS is the future of performance — and the future is now .
