The Dwonztet is a powerhouse ensemble led by jazz maestro Matt Dwonszyk, a bassist with a vision. Formed in 2012 at the prestigious Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz in Hartford, CT, this group seamlessly blends jazz, blues, R&B, and hip hop into a vibrant tapestry of sound that defies genres.

At the heart of The Dwonztet is the enchanting Shenel Johns, whose soulful vocals breathe life into both timeless jazz standards and Dwonszyk’s original compositions.
